Get to know the rules of knock, in your Rummy games

Gin Rummy game is all about knocking. This may be the most valuable move while trying to win at Gin Rummy. If you learn how to play Rummy and you want to put the finger of few things to remember, to know how to do and when – Knocking is for sure on top f the list.

First Gin Rummy player to rules of knock -  the one who has lower cards value than the knocking card. If for example, the knocking card is 8, you can knock when you have 7 or less. By knocking you tell the other players- im about to win the Gin Rummy round because I have melded all my cards and have low value, last card left.

The time to knock is always after you draw a card from the cards pile, after you have meld your cards into Sets and Runs and before you discard the last card. You can do it in any turn you like, usually its after few turns. The knockers always start when half pile is over. In order to be the Gin Rummy knocker, you must act according to the game rules. Knock in Gin Rummy while you actually say the word “Knock”. Together with the Knocking, you can show your last cards, expose the unmatched ones and let the other players decided whether they undercut you or loosing the round.
