The duration of the kalookie game is similar to other online rummy games. When you play kalookie online, kalookie 40 or kalooki 51, the turn of each player is a combination of three steps:
- Drawing a card from the mail pile, where are the cards are face off. Or from the discards pile, when the other Kalookie players can see your card.
- Melding your cards into Sets and Runs. If you have just started the game, make sure to have enogh melded cards in order to lay them down on the table. In Kalookie 40 you need at least 40 points value cards. If you play Kalookie 51, is the same for 51 points. If you already laid down your cards, this part of the game is for building as well.

Remember, the first step of drawing a card and the lst step of discarding is a must during the Rummy kalookie round. Melding, building and laying down is your effort to win the kalookie game.
